Apple Opens More Stores in China (Videos) First in Hong Kong, Largest in Shanghai

Chinese Apple Apple has opened two stores in China: the largest Apple store in the world in Shanghai on Friday, September 23 and the first Apple store in Hong Kong on Saturday, September 24. These are the 5th and 6th stores to open in China and Apple now has 3 stores in Shanghai, 2 in Beijing, and 1 in Hong Kong. The original goal was to open 25 stores in China by February 2012, but the actual Apple Inc. pace has been much slower and a definitive schedule is unknown.

China Gets Biggest Apple Store, but Masses Hungry for More Apple has its biggest Chinese store in Shanghai and is ready to open its first in Hong Kong, but it will not be enough to satisfy a hunger for gadgets among China's booming middle class, analysts say.
