The European Brand Institute, aka EuroBrand, has issued their 2011 Global Most Valuable Brands Corporations study. This is based on corporations, not single brands, "brand corporations which manage brand portfolios of single brands". About EuroBrand 2011 EuroBrand 2011 provides an overview and ranking of more than 3.000 brand corporations in 24 countries and 16 industries. In contrast to other international brand studies, EuroBrand 2011 also includes brands that are not publicly listed, which are very significant in Europe. EuroBrand 2011 explicitly views brand management from a European perspective, which acknowledges regional cultures and preferences. Therefore not single brands but brand corporations, which manage brand portfolios of single brands (addressing these regional differences), are examined and ranked.
