  1. Two things:

    1. This is a small amount of testing, not enough for good, solid results. (No offense)

    2. Apple could have put some kind of thin plastic shield around the entire metal band... it would not be noticeable, fixed the issue, and would have saved them a >>>LOT<<< of time and money.




    {But, then again, when does Apple ever listen to its customers?}

  2. Agreed, this isn't a comprehensive test. I'm baffled that Apple with all their resources, engineers, testing, etc. weren't more proactive about this problem before the launch of the iPhone 4. After the launch they again were not proactive and Steve Jobs appeared to be forced to respond on Friday.
